Following up on the Love Icon Show, is Utterances of the Heart. The first piece I’m working on for the Utterances of the Heart series is WAS DAS HERZ HÖRT. Four words. Fourteen letters – each about 12 inches high. Wood, gesso, Acrylic. LED lights and electrical wiring. Over 1,000 pieces. Framed in box seven feet long by two and a half feet tall. The entire work is illuminated.
What does it illuminate? A statement: What the heart hears.
