Infinite Love

Infinite Love

Infinite love—
it doesn’t sound real.

How can forever
be something I feel?

The finite seems truer:
love comes, love goes;
It leaves me blue
when the last light closes.

If love must last
to prove it was true,
was morning unreal
when the sunset
came through?

Does the ending of music
diminish the song,
or reveal that one moment
can carry life along?

But if love disappears,
what remains in its place?
An echo, a memory,
a vanishing face?

Can something once given
become ungiven?

Can a life once changed
return to unwritten?

Is love here now?

Ummmmmmm….
Dear One
It is here now.
Here now.

Is love forevermore?

Ahhhhhhhhhhh…
Dear One
It is forevermore.
Forevermore.

How can one heartbeat
outlive flesh and time?

The moment is mortal—
the meaning survives.

Love changes its form,
but it does not depart;
The infinite enters
through one finite heart.

This love lives forever,
beyond earthly years,

But that doesn’t help
when love disappears.

It feels so ethereal
in the astral belts—
What good is forever
if it cannot be felt?

Is endless existence
the same thing as love?

Would time without tenderness
ever be enough?

If we lived through the death
of each moon and each sun,
without being present,
what would we have won?

Then immortality cannot
make love true?

No—
love becomes endless
by being here with you…
here with you,
here with you.

Is love here now?

Ummmmmmm…
Dear One
It is here now.
Here now.

Is love forevermore?

Ahhhhhhhhhh…
Dear One
It is forevermore.
Forevermore.

How can one heartbeat
outlive flesh and time?

The moment is mortal—
the meaning survives.

Love changes its form,
but it does not depart;
The infinite enters
through one finite heart.

Ohhhh…
Master of Love
explain what my heart cannot see:
How can love pass
and eternally be?

The flesh is not a prison—
it gives love a face.

The hour is not bondage—
it gives love a place.

Eternity isn’t
more years on the clock;
It is depth in the moment
when every door unlocks.

In this moment,
In this love,
I and I are here
Eternally free.

Do you see?
Do you see?

So infinite love
need not endlessly stay
as the same burning feeling,
unchanged every day?

The wave may surrender
its shape to the sea,
yet nothing once loved
becomes less than it was.

Its form may be fleeting,
its source has no end;
What vanishes from sight
can still live within.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…
Love is here now—
Here now.
Here now.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…
And love is forevermore—
Forevermore.
Forevermore.

The body is brief,
but its giving is vast;
What love makes real
cannot fall from the past.

Though stars leave their stations
and lifetimes depart,
the infinite enters
through one finite heart.

Then what is the truth
when the moment is gone?

This present moment is always here,
through which love travels on.

And where does eternity
finally start?

Not after forever—
but here, in the heart.

Now breathre in
and hold
listen in my Dear…

Hold your heartbeat…
hold this moment…

Let go of the fear…
here is the love eternal…

Now breathe out…
and begin again…

Here is the love eternal…
again and again.
