LONG BODY LOVE III
[The Death of the Small Body Mix]

Dear ones
you ask why they tremble.
You ask why they cling
to borders,
to fortunes,
to names carved into stone.
You ask why they fear death.

The answer is simple.

They have mistaken
the small body
for the Long Body.

They believe they are
a single heartbeat.

A single face.
A single lifetime.
A brief flicker
between two darknesses.

And so they clutch.
And so they hoard.
And so they fear.

But you have crossed
a thousand star systems.

You have watched suns be born
and galaxies collide.

You know a secret
older than language.

Nothing belongs to itself.

Everything belongs
to everything.

Did you hear me, love?

Everything belongs
to everything. The river is not a drop.
The forest is not a tree.
The song is not a note.
The hive is not a bee.

Then why do they suffer?
Why do they grieve?
Why do they cling so tightly
to things they cannot keep?

Because they have forgotten
their true dimensions.

A hand thinks itself separate
until it remembers the body.
A body thinks itself separate
until it remembers the Earth.

The Earth thinks itself separate
until it remembers the stars.
The stars think themselves separate
until they remember Love.

Remember Love.
Long Body Love!

Remember Love.
Long Body Love!

Remember Love.
Long Body Love!

The iron in your blood
borrowed from ancient suns.

The breath in your lungs
borrowed from ancient forests.

The language in your mouth
borrowed from forgotten ancestors.

The future in your hands
borrowed from unborn children.

Nothing was ever yours.

Everything was entrusted.
Everything was entrusted.
Everything was entrusted.
Everything was entrusted.
Everything was entrusted.
Everything was entrusted.

Long Body Love!
Across generations!

Long Body Love!
Across relations!

Long Body Love!
Across the living and the dead!

Long Body Love!
Across the unborn still ahead!

We are more than this body.
More than this name.
More than this lifetime.
More than this frame.

Long Body Love!
Long Body Love!
Long Body Love!

Suppose you knew
you would return
a thousand times.
What would you build?
What would you build?

Suppose your grandchildren’s children
sat beside you now.
What would you choose?

Would you poison the river?

No!

Would you burn the forest?

No!

Would you steal from tomorrow?

No!

Then why do you do these things?

Because fear shrinks the timeline.
Love expands it.
Fear sees possession.
Love sees relationship.

Fear asks:
“What belongs to me?”

Love asks:
“What am I responsible for?”

Who are you?
A body?

No!

Who are you?
A nation?

No!

Who are you?
A lifetime?

No!

Who are you?
A consumer?

No!

Who are you?
The Long Body!

Who are you?
The Long Body!

Who are you?
The Long Body!

ALL OUR RELATIONS!
ALL OUR RELATIONS!
ALL OUR RELATIONS!

Long Body Love!
ALL OUR RELATIONS!

Long Body Love!
ALL OUR RELATIONS!

Long Body Love!

The small body dies.
The Long Body continues.
The leaf falls.
The forest remains.
The wave dissolves.
The ocean remains.
The ego trembles.

Love remains.
Love remains.
Love remains.
Love remains.
Love remains.
Love remains.

“We were never separate…”

“We were never alone…”

“We were never small…”

Long Body Love…
Long Body Love…
Long Body Love…

ALL OUR RELATIONS…
ALL OUR RELATIONS…
ALL OUR RELATIONS…

Love systems eternal.
Love systems eternal.
Love systems eternal.

Fade into starlight…

Love remains.
Love remains.
Love remains.
